JPEC began when a group of horse loving expatriates gathered together to talk about riding in Jakarta.  They came up with the idea of forming their own club and worked with a couple of Indonesian trainers to hammer out the details, thus JPEC was born.  Cindy Cross was the club’s first manager back in 2002 and Nunu and Toto (who still work at the club) where the first trainers on board. Since then the club has grown and thrived into a busy organisation managed by a lively committee who have one thing in common their passion for horses.

The club is now home to approximately 60 horses, half of which are privately owned and has gained national recognition for it standards in safety and quality instruction.
